'the residents of the u.s.a. present one-minute commercials for democracy - digital democracy in 60 seconds or less'
submit your track of 60 seconds in length for a new project from members of the team who brought you _polyphonic voices of digital dissent_. the submission must be situated in a political context - an orientation up to the artist's discretion. artists submitting work will be notified if they are finalists for a compilation release that will be circulated to national u.s.broadcasters for airplay. to participate in the project, read & respond to the call for content.

dmst3550/mcom3550 spring 2006 students who wish to turn in a one minute political track for extra credit are welcome to do so. for submissions for extra credit in class, notify me via email.

it's just around the corner! may 27-29, 2006
DEMF, or movement, as it's come to be known, is right around the corner once again. a legendary party of epic proportions, the recently announced line-up promises to deliver some of the greatest talents in contemporary electronic music, including Photek, Derrick Carter, The Orb, Mark Broom, Richie Hawtin, Speedy J, Chris Leibing, and Neil Landstrumm, among hundreds of others.
